Students from Crystal Springs School from Grades 5 to 12 entered over 30 robots in two different robot competitions this spring. The Hutterite Robot Games, involving students from 13 different schools, took place at Silver Winds School near Sperling on April 26th, and the Manitoba Robot Games was at Tec Voc High School on May 17th.

Crystal Spring students took home numerous awards at both of these events. Most importantly, they had a great time competing, building robots and developing friendships.
It was especially rewarding to see students reach out to help competitors with repair, parts, and advice. The Maker attitude of getting things done and learning while having fun was alive and on display.

Congratulations to all the competitors and winners.
