SOPAR (Society for Partnership) is a non-profit organization working towards reducing poverty in developing countries. One the ways in which SOPAR tries to help people in other countries is by helping developing nation’s villages drill wells so that people have access to safe drinking water.
In 2006-2007, Crystal Spring students worked together to help pay for one well. The children were quite excited about the project and immediately decided that they wanted to sponsor another well. So, this year, 2007-2008, Crystal Spring School will be continuing the previous year’s well project.
